Kame's Review:

Angel really enjoyed her job at Cloud 9, a restaurant in the Serafina hotel and casino in Las Vegas, but she was getting the feeling it was time to move on. She had been trying to stay moving so she couldn’t be found. It was different now though; she made a friend, Vadim. Vadim stood at over six feet, spoke Russian, and was one of Wyatt Christiansen’s most trusted employees. Many people were scared of the man of few words, but Angel was drawn to him.

Vadim was a secondary character in Book 2 in the series, and I truly did start my deep love of him in that book. He seems like a big teddy bear to me. He truly cares about people and wants to help them, but is very guarded. I can imagine that if he lets you into his heart you will never want or need anything again. He is a computer genius and I think it is great to see one in a romance novel who is a hunky Marine. Angel is very strong and the heartbreak she has lived through is unimaginable.  Even on the run she takes the time to care for those who can not care for themselves. After two years of running she is starting to crave relationships and closeness to people.  I liked how this was all done without making her be a needy character; her insistence of being in control and insistence of being able to make decisions was the perfect match to Vadim. Their mutual attraction, but each not believing they were worthy of the other made them a perfect match.

The plot was concise and didn’t contain extra subplots. What I like about this series is the plots revolve around a few days; nothing is drawn out to long. We got to see some characters from the other books, and even if they didn’t play an intricate part in the plot they were mentioned.  I have decided I would love to work at the Serafina it seems like they treat all trusted and dedicated employees as family. This is the third installment in the series but it could definitely be read as a stand-alone book. However I think you will get hooked like me and want to read them all.

I DEVOURED this book in honestly less than 12 hours - would have been sooner but I slept some. I love Vadim and Angel - my favorite couple in this series. I look forward to the next book in the series. I am wondering who will be the next main character.

Meet Kame:

Kame is part of a family of readers; one day she picked up the Nook she purchased for her husband and discovered her love of e-books. A few months later he purchased one for her so he could have his back! Kame’s Nook is never far, and she is hard pressed to pick a favorite book, genre or author. As long as there are characters that make her want to sit down and have a chat and a plot keeps the pages turning, she’ll read it.
