[Review]: "Infinity Unleashed"

Infinity Unleashed by Sedona Venez
Publisher: One Wish Publishing (November 29, 2013)
Series: Valkyries: Soaring Raven, 2
Genre: NA Paranormal Romance

*New Adult Paranormal Romance*

A new adult story of Betrayal. Sex. Addiction. Love. And Power...

Mason's diabolical plan had actually worked.

In a matter of minutes he had kidnapped me, stripping me of everything...money, family, and freedom. It was humbling, depressing, and damn infuriating but I refuse to go down without a fight. I refuse to be defeated.

Boulder will find me. I didn't know how, but I felt it deep in my soul.

Boulder...the one man that made my body quake with just one look. It was madness. There was so much I didn't know about him. For that matter, there was so much that he didn't know about me…like the evil darkness lurking inside me, waiting to be unleashed.

Could he accept me without judging?

That's where most men failed. Accepting the real me. But after years of hardening my heart, and sealing it behind a steel cage, I was ready to give myself to him freely. Knowing, that he planned to take everything I offered with both hands, until all I thought of...and wanted...was him…

*** This is a new adult paranormal novel and contains sexual content and graphic language. It is not intended for young adult readers. ***

My Review:

Infinity Unleashed continues the complex story of Infinity and Boulder as they try to save their world –and  each other—before it is too late. Sounds like a common plot, but while it may have a few expected ideas involved, Sedona Venez has also thrown in more than a few fresh ideas, too.

I read book 1 (Infinity) when it released last year, and enjoyed it. Now Infinity Unleashed left me on yet another cliffhanger, but as much as pisses me off, I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Now I must know what happens next—mission accomplished, Venez, I'm dying for the next release!

This series has it all; a fresh storyline, new twists, an more than just shifters and vampires. It's rare for me to read PNR lately, but when I do the book has to offer something new. Venez has accomplished that and more with both of these books.

I have to admit, at times Infinity annoyed me, but I love Boulder. A sexy ginger shifter—who can possibly resist that?!

I do recommend reading this series in order, to avoid being lost. Remember hat both books end on cliffhangers; depending on how you feel about that, you may wish to wait until the entire series is available and then start it (I didn't, and I'm okay with that.) If you are looking for a new paranormal series to follow, this is it.

Shifters and vampires and valkyries, oh my! A compelling paranormal with a good dose of steam, Infinity Unleashed is perfect for any PNR fan!

4 STARS!

I received an e-ARC of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.

What was the most interesting paranormal/fantasy book you have read recently?

Remember, Sedona did a guest post for the blog last year -- link

:) I know what you mean; I'm not a fan of them, but I've picked up more than my share of chiffhanger novels this past year! I'd love to hear your thoughts if you get a chance to read this series!
I'll have to email you this week - I can't believe how I've fallen behind on that, sorry! Enjoy our (brief) warm up!

Ooh, which book did you read?

Breaking the Storm. It's her other series--Credence Curse. It was different but had me wanting to read more. The next comes out mid April.
